Executive

Thomas Decker, Owner

Thomas Decker, the Owner of United Race Parts, originally from Vicksburg Michigan, made the move to Mooresville in 2005 to pursue a career in Motorsports. With experience at companies like BSR Products, HutchBSR, and CV Products, Thomas gained valuable insights and eventually seized the opportunity to establish United Race Parts in 2015. Supported by his wife and close friends, Thomas navigated the early days and witnessed substantial growth in the NASCAR program. Now surrounded by a remarkable team, the journey has become smoother. In 2014, Thomas married his wife Rebecca and welcomed one remarkable kid into their family. When not at the race track, Thomas can be found at a PRS Rifle match, enjoying the water, going on family trips, or attending a Charlotte FC game.

Rebecca Decker, COO

Rebecca Decker grew up in Fort Mill, SC, and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management. She is the Chief Operations Officer at United Race Parts and has been with the company since 2017. Rebecca married Thomas in 2014 and they welcomed their son Lawsen in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the lake with loved ones, traveling to new places, and reading.

Sales and Special Projects

Bryan Powell, Sales Manager

Bryan Powell, Sales Manager at United Race Parts, brings over 14 years of professional experience in the motorsports industry, having worked with reputable companies such as NASCAR Media Group, Hutch/BSR, CV, and ProFabrication. When he’s not immersed in the world of motorsports, Bryan enjoys hunting, fishing, and cherishing moments with his family.

Phil Reinhard, Project Manager and Technical Sales

Phil Reinhard brings nearly two decades of experience in the racing industry. Starting as a pit crew member, Phil honed his skills in vehicle maintenance, track management, and race day operations. His dedication and expertise led him to become a respected crew chief known for optimizing pit stops and ensuring peak crew performance. With an unwavering passion for the sport, Phil aims to inspire the next generation of racers.

Service Technicians

Joe Slingerland, NASCAR Program Manager

Joe Slingerland, NASCAR Program Manager, brings 24 years of experience in the racing industry, having worked with top teams such as Evernham Motorsports, DEI, Hass Racing, RFK, Red Bull Racing, JGR, HMS/JRM, and JTG. With contributions to 2 cup championships with Jimmie Johnson, a Xfinity championship with Chase Elliot, and victory at the Daytona 500 with Dale JR, Joe is dedicated to excellence. Honored as part of the X2 Mechanix Wear pit crew of the year, he enjoys staying active through working out, mountain biking, and woodworking with his family.

Scott Edgell, NASCAR Program Technician

Scott Edgell was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and holds an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology from York Technical College. Scott’s impressive industry experience includes positions such as Mechanic and School Car Crew Chief at Skip Barber Racing School, Lead Mechanic for BK Motorsports IMSA Lites championship team, Lead Mechanic in the SCCA Chicago Region Series and Mechanic at the Richard Petty Driving Experience.  In 2018 Scott brought his impressive knowledge to United Race Parts where he joined the team as a NASCAR Program Technician.  

Joe “lil Joe” Hampton, NASCAR Program Technician

Joe “lil Joe” Hampton, NASCAR Program Technician, was born and raised in Lexington, KY, and moved to North Carolina at 18 in 2005 to pursue a career in racing. With a strong passion for NASCAR and racing, Joe has worked for various renowned teams such as Penske Racing, Riley Tech, Petty Motorsports, BSCI, Taylor Stricklin Racing, and now proudly with United Race Parts since January 2022. Throughout his career, Joe has celebrated team victories including the 2008 Daytona 500, 2012 Rolex 24 hour at Daytona, 2010 All Star & 2010 Coke Cola 600, and the 2010 Nationwide Series Championship. Joe brings his expertise to United Race Parts, servicing customer impacts for IMSA, INDYCAR, and the weekly NASCAR program while leading special projects both in the shop and on the track. In addition to his racing accomplishments, Joe is a dedicated husband to Alexandria, a loving pet parent to his dog Rizzo, and recognized as a devoted Kentucky Wildcats fan. Go Big Blue!

Rafael Panduro-Allanson, NASCAR Program Technician

Rafael Panduro-Allanson, known as Raf or RJ, has been immersed in the motorsports industry since graduating high school in 2013. Starting at The Richard Petty Driving Experience, he honed his skills in various roles before joining United Race Parts in 2018. His expertise includes track support at NASCAR races, rebuilding air guns, tracking part use, custom hose making, laser engraving, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and 3D modeling. With a passion for 3D printing and outdoor adventures like hiking and rock climbing, Rafael brings a dynamic skill set and energy to United Race Parts.

Aidan Pauley, Warehouse Technician

Aidan Pauley joined United Race Parts in April 2023 as a warehouse consultant. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his loyal pit bull named Duke and tinkering with his project car during his free time.

Accounting

Rebecca Newton Thorpe, Accounting Manager

Rebecca Newton Thorpe has brought her talents as an Accounting Manager to the URP family since 2023, following a break from racing to focus on raising her family. With experience as the “PR chick” in the ARCA series and early years of the Craftsmen Truck series, Rebecca has been immersed in the racing world for most of her life. She attended Saturday night races at Cordele when it was dirt
and Phoenix City when it was dangerous.  A proud mother of three daughters and a son, as well as grandmother to three granddaughters, Rebecca values family time and has instilled her love for SEC football in them. Go Dawgs! Graduating with a BBA in Accounting from the University of North Georgia and an MBA in management from Kennesaw State University, Rebecca successfully balanced her education, career, and family life as a single race wife.
